Comfort for God's People!

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God stands forever.

People are compared here to grass and flowers that wither away.  We are mortals, but God’s Word is eternal and unfailing.  Public opinion changes and is unreliable, but God’s Word is constant.  Only God’s eternal Word will we find a lasting solution to our problems and needs.

Only God's Plan and purposes will last!
