Forty Years!

Yet the Lord says, “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet. You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drinks. I did this so that you might know that I am the Lord your God.” Deut.29:5-6

"I am your Lord your God"

Just as the people of Israel overlooked God’s care for them along their journey, we sometimes

do not see all the ways that God takes care of us – that all our daily needs have been supplied, and we have been fed and well clothed.  Worse yet, we mistakenly take credit ourselves for being good providers instead of recognizing God’s Hand in the process.
