A Hymn: And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be the sight The clouds be rolled back as a scroll The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend Even so, it is well with my soul.

A Reflection:

When Faith Shall Be Sight

ree

In the Past:

Enoch walked with God and ...(Gen.5:22-24); Elijah up by a whirlwind (2Kg.2:11);

Peter, James, John: saw Jesus Transfigured (Mt.17; Mk.9; Lk.9)

Mary Magdalene saw Jesus Resurrected, exclaimed "Rabboni" (Jn.20:16)

In Future "Faith Shall Be Sight": 1 Thess.4:13-18

God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus...The Lord Himself will descend from heaven... the dead in Christ shall rise first.. we who are alive will be caught up... meet the Lord and thus shall we always be with the Lord.

1 Cor.13:12

Now we see in a mirror dimly but then face to face.. then I shall know fully

Postlude: And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect. 12 Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.-- Heb.11:39 -12.3
