Re: Reading Exodus, Pondering Moses a type of Christ

Next time someone complains that the Bible is "Male biased", points out that rulers Pharoah (Egypt) and  Herod (Rome) targeted male children and spared females!

Exodus: Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born, you are to throw into the Nile, but every daughter, you are to keep alive.” Ex.1:22

Matthew: Then when Herod saw that the magi had tricked him, he became very enraged, and sent men and killed all the boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity who were two years old or under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi. Mt.2:16

Comment: One would conclude that females - not males - were favoured!
