Now that’s my King!David saysThe Heavens declare the glory of GodAnd the firmament showed His handiworkNo means of measure can define His limitless loveNo far-seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supplyNo barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing

He’s enduringly strongHe’s entirely sincereHe’s eternally steadfastHe’s immortally gracefulHe’s imperially powerfulHe’s impartially merciful

That’s my King!He’s God’s SonHe’s the sinners’ SaviourHe’s the centerpiece of civilizationHe stands alone in HimselfHe’s augustHe’s uniqueHe’s unparalleledHe’s unprecedentedHe’s supremeHe’s pre-eminentHe’s the loftiest idea in literatureHe’s the highest personality in philosophyHe’s the supreme problem in higher criticismHe’s the fundamental doctrine in true theologyHe’s the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion

That’s my King!He’s the miracle of the ageHe’s the superlative of everything good that you choose to call HimHe’s the only one able to supply all of our needs simultaneouslyHe supplies strength for the weakHe’s available for the tempted and the triedHe sympathizes and He savesHe guards and He guidesHe heals the sickHe cleansed the lepersHe forgives sinnersHe discharges debtorsHe delivers the captivesHe defends the feebleHe blesses the youngHe serves the unfortunateHe regards the agedHe rewards the diligentAnd He beautifies the meek

Do you know Him?My King is the key of knowledgeHe’s the wellspring of wisdomHe’s the doorway of deliveranceHe’s the pathway of peaceHe’s the roadway of righteousnessHe’s the highway of holinessHe’s the gateway of gloryHe’s the master of the mightyHe’s the captain of the conquerorsHe’s the head of the heroesHe’s the leader of the legislatorsHe’s the overseer of the overcomersHe’s the governor of governorsHe’s the prince of princesHe’s the King of KingsAnd He’s the Lord of Lords
