When I Awake!

As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness. Isaiah 2:17.

The Word Awake shows that David believed in life after death. Although belief in the Resurrection

was not widespread in Old Testament times, several verses show that it was partially understood.  Some of these are Job 19:25; Psalm 16:10;49-15; Isaiah 29:10 and Daniel 12:2-13.
