PROVERBS 17:13
If a person pays back evil with good, evil will never leave their house.
Like Nabal, who refused to pay David’s men, evil will never leave his house. The fate of David’s family after his affair with Bathsheba and the murder of Uriah. (2 Sam 12:10; cf. Jer. 18:20-23)
